This was my first time at NCED and I will book there every time I go to the OKC metro area from now on!
Pool needed to be inside...
Great breakfast! Clean and well maintained.
The rooms are very tiny and sparse; the walls are paper thin, and you could hear everything in the hallway and next door. The bathroom was so small that shower curtain hit my legs when I sat on the toilet. Not many outlets in the room.
I am a smoker and they had a designated area for smoking.
Traveling by myself. Could not find it. The sign was for Postal Workers. Had to call for dicrections. Had driven by twice and did not understand where it was. Also ac was off so room was very warm. Saw sign the next morning to please turn ac off when not in use. I think it should have been turned on for a room that was reserved. The bed was not very comfortable.
the rooms were so small that there was only one chair in the room
The pool was wonderful. The whirlpool in the ladies locker was fab! We didn't lack for anything. We just had a cool overnight stay in the 111 degree heat!
The whole atmosphere as well as the facilities made this conference center a wonderful experience. It also gives you the feeling of being on vacation. The hotel is huge. You can swim, get a massage, workout at the gym, and also eat a good meal at the buffet. The breakfast buffet is complimentary and gives you a nice selection of food to choose from. There is also a clinic on site in case of an injury or illness. The price for all of this and more is a great deal. The rooms are a bit small but the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very quiet. We plan on going there again soon.
There is a woman that checks your photo id before you are even able to drive into the conference lot. I understand that this is govt property, however, her attitude was militant by asking "What are you hear for, let me see your ID".She said it in a abrasive way as she had on her security guard uniform on. I did not like that feeling right before needing a " vacation".
The bar staff were under trained. The young bartender only wanted to help and talk to young guys, not wait on couples.
